Each school may have different requirements for forming clubs.  The first step is for you to check with your school’s administration as to what the requirements are.  The common requirements usually include having a faculty sponsor and/or an adult advisor.

After getting together a few friends or students who may also be interested in starting a pro-life youth club, other steps can include:

  • setting a time, date and location for meetings (review the Federal Equal Access Act under the "Resources" tab)
  • publicity
  • getting official recognition
  • creating a mission statement
  • creating a constitution or bylaws
  • developing your membership
  • planning your meetings
  • fundraising
